Ryan Csida’s Big Day Propels Menasha Macs Past Waupaca Lakemen

Ryan Csida collected three hits in five at bats, as Menasha Macs defeated Waupaca Lakemen 10-4 on Wednesday. Csida hit a home run to right field in the third inning, singled in the fifth inning, and singled in the sixth inning.

 

Menasha Macs scored six runs in the fifth inning on the way to victory. Evan Olson singled, scoring two runs, Quade Thompson singled, scoring one run, Jack Anzelmo grounded out, scoring one run, and Connor Olson grounded out, scoring two runs.

 

Menasha Macs got on the board in the third inning after Csida homered to right field, scoring two runs.

 

Zach LeMieux earned the win for Menasha Macs. The starting pitcher surrendered two hits and zero runs over six innings, striking out six and walking two. Carson McLean took the loss for Waupaca Lakemen. The starting pitcher went four innings, surrendering three runs (one earned) on three hits, striking out two and walking none. Tyler Fitzgerald and Csida each appeared in relief for Menasha Macs.

 

Menasha Macs collected 10 hits in the game. Olson and Csida each collected three hits for Menasha Macs. Olson, Anzelmo, and Csida each drove in two runs for Menasha Macs. Ben Johnston collected two hits for Menasha Macs in four at bats. Menasha Macs didn't commit a single error in the field. Thompson had the most chances in the field with seven.

 

AJ McDonald and Davis Levine each collected one hit for Waupaca Lakemen. McDonald and Parker Krcmar each drove in one run for Waupaca Lakemen. Johnny Popham led Waupaca Lakemen with two walks. Overall, the team had a strong eye at the plate, tallying eight walks for the game. Waupaca Lakemen turned one double play in the game.
