Menasha Macs Cannot Hold Onto Lead Versus Sheboygan A’s

Menasha Macs lost to Sheboygan A’s 11-6 on Monday at USA Sports Complex, Appleton, WI even though they once led by four runs.
Menasha Macs got on the board in the bottom of the first inning after Ryan Csida homered to left field, Quade Thompson doubled to center field, Jacob Coopman tripled to center field, and Colin Nigl singled to center field, each scoring one run.
Sheboygan A’s scored one run in the top of the second on a solo home run to left field by Connor Lasch.
Sheboygan A’s flipped the game on its head in the top of the fifth, scoring six runs on four hits to take the lead, 7-4. The biggest blow in the inning was a single by George Hoss that drove in two.
Bryce Lovisa earned the win for Sheboygan A’s. The hurler allowed 11 hits and five runs over five innings, striking out four and walking one. Zach LeMieux took the loss for Menasha Macs. The hurler went four and two-thirds innings, surrendering seven runs (four earned) on seven hits, striking out three and walking four.
