Menasha Macs Win In Fashion, Walk It Off Versus Kewaskum A’s

Menasha Macs took Thursday's game in dramatic fashion, with a 5-4 walk-off victory over Kewaskum A’s at Koslo Park, Menasha, WI. Menasha Macs were down 4-3 in the bottom of the tenth inning when Evan Olson singled, scoring two runs.

 

Menasha Macs jumped out to the lead in the bottom of the first inning after Jack Anzelmo singled, scoring two runs, and Quade Thompson scored after tagging up.

 

Kewaskum A’s tied the game in the top of the eighth thanks to an error, and a walk by Steve Marhefke.

 

A single by Sean Gregorius gave Kewaskum A’s the lead, 4-3, in the top of the tenth.

 

Jacob Coopman earned the win for Menasha Macs. The hurler surrendered one hit and one run (zero earned) over two innings, striking out three and walking none. Connor Olson stepped on the bump first for Menasha Macs. The hurler gave up one hit and one run (zero earned) over seven innings, striking out nine and walking one. Zach Brzezinski stepped on the hill first for Kewaskum A’s. The hurler allowed six hits and three runs over nine innings, striking out nine and walking one.
