Menasha Macs Defeats Kewaskum A’s On Back Of Clutch Display From Jack Anzelmo

Jack Anzelmo drove in four runs on two hits to lead Menasha Macs past Kewaskum A’s 5-1 on Tuesday at Carl M. Kuss Memorial Field, West Bend, WI. Anzelmo hit a home run to left field in the sixth inning, scoring three runs, and hit a sacrifice fly in the first inning, scoring one.

 

Menasha Macs were the first to get on the board in the first when Anzelmo hit a sacrifice fly, scoring one run.

 

Menasha Macs scored three runs in the top of the sixth on a home run to left field by Anzelmo.

 

Kewaskum A’s scored one run in the bottom of the seventh on a solo home run to left field by Brad Young.

 

Zach LeMieux earned the win for Menasha Macs. The hurler surrendered three hits and zero runs over six innings, striking out three and walking two. Braden Bothe took the loss for Kewaskum A’s. The hurler went six innings, allowing four runs (three earned) on three hits, striking out one and walking one. Hudson Ludwig collected the save.

 

Ryan Csida stole three bases. Menasha Macs turned one double play in the game. Menasha Macs didn't commit a single error in the field. Connor Olson had the most chances in the field with seven.

 

Young and Jalen Gellings each collected two hits for Kewaskum A’s. Young led Kewaskum A’s with one run batted in. The third baseman went 2-for-4 on the day. Kewaskum A’s turned one double play in the game.
