Menasha Macs Run Away With Early Lead In Victory

August 3-The Appleton Legends watched the game slip away early and couldn't recover in a 6-1 loss to Menasha on Wednesday. Menasha took the lead on a double in the second inning.

Trey Tennessen earned the victory on the pitcher's mound for the Macs. The righthander surrendered one run on three hits over two innings, striking out one and walking one. A number of pitchers entered the game as relief, with Rex BayerChris Seveska#22, and Orion Rieden all securing outs and ultimately the victory.

The Macs tallied 11 hits on the day. Josh Blount and Ryan Hinske all had multiple hits.

Kewaskum A's Defeat Menasha Macs Despite Allowing 3-Run Inning

August 2-The Kewaskum A's managed through a push by Menasha  in the first inning where the A's  coughed up three runs, but Kewaskum still won 6-4 on Tuesday. 

Menasha's big inning was driven by a triple by Graden Taschner, a single by Josh Blount, and a fielder's choice by Parker Knoll. The Macs got things moving in the first inning, when Mitch Voit induced Knoll to hit into a fielder's choice, but one run scored.

Kewaskum pulled away for good with four runs in the third inning. In the third Voit homered on a 1-2 count, scoring two runs and Jalen Gellings singled on a 0-1 count, scoring one run.

Mitchell Lukasik took the loss for MenashaLukasik went three innings, allowing four runs on four hits and striking out three.

Drew Johnson led Menasha with two hits in three at bats.

Our 6th Annual Cancer Benefit Baseball Game was yet again a very successful night. We raised $6,100 for UNLESS and Robin's Nest to help local families dealing with cancer! Thank you to all businesses and individuals who made this evening a success!
